Seth Martens included some info on this species when it was imported into Belgium. About 50 birds of this species was imported in 2004-2005. To date nobody having this species has had success with these birds. A few of the breeders lost their females because of aggression from the males (males can turn aggressive from one day to another). The pair are quite & calm, males rarely call.
