The two pictures above show the "coloration dimorphism" in the tail feathers of the adult female & male Greenwings. The two pictures below show this same coloration dimorphism in juvenile female & male Greenwings. The juvenile Greenwings were fledged & the tail feathers had grown in enough to show the coloration. This facet is 100% accurate & can be utilized to sex the juvenile Greenwings before they have attained their adult plumage.

area. It is not known if this facet may be an indication a split bird carries
