Cape Ringdove & Vinaceous Dove

These two pictures represent the comparisons between the Cape Ringdove (Streptopelia capicola) & the Vinaceous Dove (Streptopelia vinacea). There is an overlapping of the two ranges in Uganda, Africa. A study of this area (2002) found an intermediate population of hybrids of the two species.
